Someone submitted hand-drawn artwork to our AI grader. Our AI, being extremely professional, carefully noted the marker artwork, the glitter pens, and the photograph of a plush toy on the interior pages — and then awarded it a 9.4 Near Mint. In fairness, the paper was in excellent condition.
Someone submitted a 1939 F.C. Taylor Fur Co. trapping catalog to our AI grader. Our AI did not question this. It carefully documented the catastrophically compromised spine, the detached back cover, and the pencil scrawl across the rear surface — and delivered a thorough, confident grade. At no point did it wonder if this was a comic book.
